Keller Williams brings in former CEO Mark Willis as strategic consultant

by John Yellig

Former Keller Williams CEO Mark Willis has returned to the company as a strategic consultant.

Willis, who served as Keller Williams president from 2002 to 2005 and CEO from 2005 to 2015, will help the brokerage’s agents and franchisees grow their business.

“We’re going to build on the strong foundational relationships within the company and deepen them,” Willis said. “I’m excited about the future, as the opportunity for entrepreneurs to thrive has never been better. And we’re leaning into it.”

Willis joined Keller Williams in 1991. Since then, he held increasingly senior positions at the company, including regional director, operating principal, team leader and as a KW market center and region investor. He is currently a franchisee himself.

“In an industry that has changed so dramatically in the last five to 10 years, it is great to have someone who knows our systems, culture and people so well,” Keller Williams President Marc King said.
