Intersection Development is set to break down on SISU Roosevelt and Arcada, two new projects in Phoenix’s Arts District. An official ceremony will take place on Nov. 6.
The combined developments represent over $70 million in investments.
Located at 821 N. First Ave., SISU is a 12-story, 125-unit mixed-use building designed by räkkhaus. Interiors will feature Nordic-inspired design, built-in millwork, a rooftop event space and a pool and amenity deck, as well as ground-floor retail and office space.
Arcada, meanwhile, is located at 801 N. First Ave. above the Stoddard-Harmon House and will include three dining and nightlife options from Clive Collective: Ada, a coastal American restaurant; Love Call, a cocktail bar; and Kuza Tori, a hybrid sushi bar and Japanese listening lounge. A shared kitchen and outdoor dining area will connect the three venues. Clive will also open a new onsite office space.
Both SISU and Arcada are part of Intersection’s greater Fascination Street development, which will add pedestrian connections throughout Roosevelt Row. Plans for the street include a link between Arcada and an existing hardware store and SISU and Atari Hotels Phoenix, as well as new lighting, landscaping and interactive media installations along the alley.
