Ulysses Development Group celebrated the grand opening of Dahlia Village, a 126-unit affordable housing community at 3620 S. 12th St. in south Phoenix.
All units are reserved for residents making up to 60% of the area median income. The development is funded through the Arizona Department of Housing, Citibank via the Arizona Industrial Development Authority, the City of Phoenix and Enterprise Community Partners.
“The grand opening celebration marks the completion of one of the many needed transformative community housing initiatives in Phoenix, and the UDG team is waking up the next day to do it all over again,” said Vice President of Development Ahmed Abdelhameed. “We officially kick off construction at Wild Rose Flats, which will provide an additional 72 affordable homes with supportive services.”
UDG will break ground on Wild Rose Flats, also located in Phoenix, on Sept. 23.
