Four Phoenix-area brokerages cracked the top 50 in the annual RealTrends 500 top brokerages by volume.

HomeSmart, based in Scottsdale, led the way at No. 8 on the list with $25.1 billion in sales volume and more than 56,000 transactions in 2021. HomeSmart has more than 13,500 agents in 48 offices.

The top five in volume nationally were: Compass, Realogy Brokerage Group, HomeServices of America Inc., eXp Realty and Redfin. RealTrends has been compiling its list of top brokerages for 35 years.

My Home Group in Scottsdale was No. 30 on the list, at $7.7 billion in volume and more than 20,000 transactions. 

West USA Realty Inc. in Phoenix was No. 44, at a volume of $5.58 billion and more than 25,000 transactions.

Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty, based in Scottsdale, was No. 45, with $5 billion in volume on 6,000 transactions.
