Born and raised in Venezuela, Peggy Young attended American schools before enrolling in an all-girls boarding school in Louisiana followed by a move to Alaska as a young adult. Starting her career in marketing and public relations, she became interested in real estate while building a new home. “I started this career in 1996 while living in Alaska,” Young shares. “All my experience in networking, customer service and customer relations carried over seamlessly into real estate.”

Restarting from ground zero when she relocated to the Phoenix area in 2008, Young remembers how every other house at that time was either for sale, in foreclosure or a short sale. “Now here it is, 16 years later, and I have sold over 340 houses; 42 of them in 2021 alone,” she points out. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she is a Realtor with RE/MAX Fine Properties covering the entire Phoenix metro area.

RE/MAX recognized Young in their 100% Club in 2015–2019 and 2023, the Hall of Fame in 2020, the Chairman’s Club in 2021 and the Platinum Club in 2020 and 2022. An ambassador for the City of Scottsdale, she is a graduate of the Scottsdale Area Association of Realtors Scottsdale Leadership Class XIV and the Tempe Chamber of Commerce Tempe Leadership Class XXIX. Crediting her success to her ability to establish relationships, she is very persistent with the ability to stay focused while staying flexible, moving at the clients’ pace. “I work with some clients for a long time and I never pressure them into buying,” she insists. “This is their journey.”

When not working, Young enjoys traveling and visiting with friends and family including her son in New York City and her daughter and two grandsons who live in Texas.
