Claire Ackerman, Realtor, Team Lead

The Ackerman Team, North&Co.

For Claire Ackerman, real estate is more than a career. It’s a craft. With 20 years under her belt, the leader of the small-but-mighty Ackerman Team is happiest when she is strategizing with clients, coaching team members through transaction-based solutions and generally helping others reach their real estate goals.

Ackerman was introduced to the business through positions in title and escrow that intrigued her so much that she decided to earn her license and become an Realtor in 2005. However, just as she was getting her feet wet, the market began to take a turn for the worse. Undaunted and driven by her desire to help others, Ackerman found a niche assisting banks and then homeowners who were in difficult situations. “I gained superior knowledge of the entire valley while listing an abundance of foreclosures and short sales throughout the distressed market,” Ackerman recalls. Since then, she and the Ackerman Team have been part of the valley’s growth, working with everyone from first-timers to savvy investors, relocation clients and luxury home buyers and sellers.

The Ackerman Team’s four agents and support staff primarily serve Phoenix, Scottsdale and Maricopa County. Ackerman is among the top 1% of Realtors in Maricopa County and one of the top 10 agents at North&Co. Clients describe her as responsive, detail oriented and a valued resource whom they count on long after the deal is closed. “I strive to take the stress out of the sale and truly represent my clients with the utmost trust, integrity and passion. Our clients become our family,” Ackerman shares.

In addition to supporting the Scottsdale Unified School District and Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen). The Ackerman Team also donates to the Arizona Housing Fund with each successful sale. Ackerman herself is a community volunteer who enjoys traveling, hiking and spending time with family and friends.
