Amanda Thomason, Branch Manager, Associate Broker

Coldwell Banker Realty, Coldwell Banker Realty Global Luxury

An Arizona native, Amanda Thomason started her career in the insurance business after a broker suggested she go into real estate. Loving the idea of learning something new, Thomason got her license and still remembers seeing the smiles on her clients’ faces after her first sale. “Many of the same skills needed in insurance, such as sales, contracts, relationship building and marketing, helped me become successful in the real estate industry,” she points out.

Branch manager and associate broker for North Scottsdale and Fountain Hills with Coldwell Banker, Thomason enjoys helping other agents grow a successful business. “As I developed my skills and became successful, I wanted to guide other agents to do the same,” she explains. “For me, the agent is my client. Before I start working with new agents, I research their business, know what their goals are in the future and develop a plan around what will get them there.” A part of the Arizona management team, she leads two offices with 130 agents, which helps in acquiring new perspectives on the market.

Coldwell Banker Leadership Group named Thomason Manager of the Year for the Goodyear office in 2020, presented her with the International President’s Circle Office designation 2021-23 and named her a President’s Council Manager in 2023. Additionally, she is a 2020 RISE graduate and a 2023 LEAD graduate, having received leadership certifications in both programs. “I always keep in mind how much there is to learn when getting into this business,” she notes. “Patience and constant learning on my part is key when developing new and experienced Realtors.”

Focusing on maintaining a work-life balance, Thomason enjoys singing, skydiving and zip-lining. She loves spending time outdoors and exploring Arizona on utility vehicles with her husband, two sons and two golden retrievers.
