The Howard Hughes Corporation announced the first four builders for Teravalis, a 37,000-acre community in the Phoenix West Valley: Lennar, Brightland Homes, KB Home and Courtland Communities.

The first community in Teravalis, formerly known as Douglas Ranch, will be called Floreo. A grand opening for this neighborhood is slated for 2025.

“We are pleased to begin residential development in Teravalis as we build this innovative new community that will help meet the ongoing market demand for homes in the Phoenix West Valley,” David O’Reilly, CEO of Howard Hughes, said in a press release. “We are pleased to announce our partnerships with acclaimed homebuilders at Teravalis who share our track record for building expertly planned communities designed for long-term, sustainable growth.”

Five thousand homes are expected to be delivered over the next decade. Additional homebuilders will be announced in the coming months.
