Where did you grow up?
Glendale
Growing up, what did you want to be?
I was a little lost growing up! I didn’t have an ambition until I became a mom at 18.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
I love weight lifting! It takes all the stress away!
What is Phoenix’s best-kept secret?
I think the outdoor activities are the best — paddle boarding at Lake Pleasant, driving up to Strawberry to go to Fossil Creek, or just hiking in the White Tanks. I love being outside.
What do you love most about the industry?
I honestly love seeing my buyers and sellers win, and meeting other like-minded people in the business that are just amazing and inspiring.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
I’m definitely my authentic self. I’m a woman of faith, a mom and a wife and I relate to a lot of other moms too.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Just the uncertainty of the job. Real estate is very challenging career, but very rewarding once we get to where we need to go.
What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
Doing what you love. Meeting people. Social media helps a lot too.
What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?
I love “Dutton Ranch”!
What’s your favorite meal in Phoenix?
I am a big fan of Tacos Chilango.
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Phoenix?
Surprise has a garden of art. My son has art there so that’s my favorite.
What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
The police came to my showing. I thought they were coming to arrest me, but one of the neighbors actually called because someone stole the pool pump heater.
What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you?
Probably being a teen mom. Then I had my other son when I was 21. My kids are my biggest blessing. Having them young was a little hard, but we got through it all.
What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
Mission Beach. I love being able to walk on the boardwalk and get out of the heat in July.
What is your favorite city after Phoenix?
I’m definitely a lover of Surprise. It’s growing so big.
What is your advice for someone new to the industry?
One day at a time. Each transaction, each relationship, is handled one moment at a time.
What’s your favorite real estate iPhone/Android app?
Definitely my ARMLS flex account.
Who are your favorite people to follow on social media?
I love Shannon Gillette.
