Camelot Homes was among the big winners at the annual Gold Nugget Awards, presented at the Pacific Coast Builders Conference on July 29.g

Camelot’s highest honor of the evening was Residential Collection of the Year, which the builder received for The Edge at Joy Ranch in Scottsdale.

The builder also received three more Gold Nugget Awards for its work in The Edge at Joy Ranch: Best Single Family Detached Home (Over 4,000 Sq. Ft.) for its 9523B Plan and Best Specialty Room Design for a Home (Production) for the Whiskey Room; plus Best Indoor/Outdoor Lifestyle for a Production Home for the 9522A Plan.

“We’re extremely honored to share that we received four top awards at this year’s PCBC Gold Nugget Awards,” President Kevin Rosinski said in a press release. “This recognition is especially meaningful as it marks our second consecutive year receiving this honor, following last year’s win for The Collection.”

Camelot also took home a Merit Award — PCBC’s runner-up distinction — for the 9523B Plan’s indoor/outdoor design.

Additional Phoenix-area builders and developers to win Gold Nugget Awards included BedBrock Developers, which won Best Custom Home (Over 10,000 Sq. Ft.) and Best Indoor/Outdoor Lifestyle for a Home (Custom) for its Courtyard Reflection home in Phoenix, as well as Best Kitchen Design for a Home (Custom) for its Skyfold build in Paradise Valley. BedBrock also took home four Merit Awards for its Skyfold, Courtyard Reflection and Aravella homes.

Other Phoenix-area Golden Nugget winners included Brimley Development, which won Best Specialty Room Design for a Home (Custom) for the Salty Goat Bar at its Chateau D’Arcadia in Phoenix; Capstone Homes, which won Best Interior Merchandising of a Home (Priced $600,000 to $900,000) for 2475 at Jasper 8 in Prescott Valley; and Toll Brothers, which won Best Primary Suite Design for a Home (Production) for The Windgate in Sereno Canyon.

Shea Homes received Merit Awards in eight categories: Single Family Detached Home (Under 2,000 Sq. Ft.) for Medley at Avalon Crossing, Plan 3001; Single-Family Detached Home (3,001 to 3,499 Sq. Ft.) for Symmetry at Magnolia, Plan 6001; Single-Family Detached Home (Over 4,000 Sq. Ft.) for Signature at Black Mountain and Signature at Storyrock; Indoor/Outdoor Lifestyle for a Production Home for Signature at Black Mountain and Signature at Storyrock; Kitchen Design for a Home (Production) for Signature at Black Mountain, Plan 7531; Primary Suite Design for a Home (Production) for Signature at Black Mountain, Plan 7531; Specialty Room Design for a Home (Production) for the lounge at Symmetry at Magnolia, Plan 6004, and the casita/outdoor gathering space at Signature at Black Mountain; and Interior Merchandising of a Home (Priced $1.5 Million & Over) for Signature at Black Mountain and Signature at Storyrock.

SAM Construction Group received five Merit Awards, earning recognition in the On-the-Boards Custom/Spec Home category for The Collection House, while The Infinity House was recognized in the Renovated or Restored Single House, Kitchen Design for a Home (Custom Home), Primary Suite Design for a Home (Custom) and Interior Design of a Custom/One-of-a-Kind Home categories.

Among other Phoenix-area Merit Award recipients, Belgravia Group’s Portico community was recognized in the Multifamily Housing Community (20-30 DU/acre) category; Manship Builders’ Casa Forma custom home was recognized in the Kitchen Design, Primary Suite Design and Interior Design categories; Platinum Companies was recognized in the Custom Home (Over 10,000 Sq. Ft.) category for Solaris Peak and the One-of-a-Kind Home category for Skyward Vista; and Salcito Custom Homes’ Villa Cristallo home was recognized in the Primary Suite Design category.

Toll Brothers was recognized in the Interior Merchandising of a Home ($900,000 to $1.5 Million) category for Woodland at Toll Brothers at Ladera Trails; Tinker Development was recognized in the Custom Home (Over 10,000 Sq. Ft.) category for Paradise Valley Farms; Tri-Pointe Homes was recognized in the Community Land Plan category for Soleo; and Urban Design Associates was recognized in the Renovated or Restored Single House category for Alba Revival.
