REMAX Fine Properties agent Don Matheson received the REMAX Paramount of Excellence Award for 30 years of service and $30 million in career commissions. He’s one of just 16 REMAX associates nationwide to have earned the distinction.

“I’m really humbled. This means a lot to me,” Matheson said. “I’ve been very proud of the brand from day one. The brand has meant a lot to me and given me a lot.”

Matheson’s real estate career spans nearly 50 years, with experience in Canada and the Phoenix-Scottsdale market. Since relocating to Arizona in 1995, Don has assisted clients with over 3,200 transactions. He’s also the founder of The Matheson Team, which specializes in the Phoenix area’s luxury golf communities and was recognized as the No. 1 REMAX team in Arizona, the No. 6 REMAX team in the country and the No. 9 REMAX team globally in 2025.

CEO Erik Carlson called Matheson “an icon” of the industry.
