Phoenix builders and developers honored at 2024 Golden Nugget Awards

Several Phoenix-area builders and developers earned awards at the Pacific Coast Builder Conference (PCBC) Golden Nugget Awards, which were held last month at the Anaheim Convention Center in California.

Notably, Toll Brothers’ Sunburst model at Sereno Canyon in Scottsdale took home a number of top awards across categories. Among them, Home of the Year, as well as Best Single Family Detached Home — Over 4,750 Square Feet and Best Indoor-Outdoor Lifestyle for a Home.

Toll Brothers also took home a Golden Nugget Award for Best Single-Family Detached Home — 2,500 to 3,000 Square Feet for the Catteau model at Adero Canyon in Fountain Hills. The builder also earned Awards of Merit, PCBC’s honorable mention awards, for Master-Planned Community of the Year and Community Amenity of the Year for Sereno Canyon, as well as Awards of Merit for Indoor-Outdoor Lifestyle for a Home for The Hoffman and The Catteau at Adero Canyon and for Single-Family Detached Home — 3,000 to 3,500 Square Feet category for The Hastings at Sterling Grove in Surprise.

Other Phoenix-area builders and developers to win Golden Nugget Awards included Build Inc. Design + Build, which won Best Custom Home — Under 5,000 Square Feet for its SB Residence in Scottsdale; and BedBrock Developers, which won Best Indoor-Outdoor Lifestyle for a Custom Home for its Part and Counterpart home and Best Interior Design of a Custom Home for its Cozy Camelview Home, both located in Paradise Valley.

BedBrock Developers also won an Award of Merit for One-of-a-Kind Home for White Box No. 5 in Paradise Valley. Additionally, the developer’s Cozy Camelview home won an Award of Merit for Indoor-Outdoor Lifestyle for a Custom Home, while Part and Counterpart won an Award of Merit for Interior Design of a Custom Home.

Tri Pointe Homes racked up multiple Awards of Merit for Waterston in Gilbert, which earned recognition for Master-Planned Community of the Year, Community Land Plan of the Year and Landscape Architecture for a Community. The builder was also recognized for Single-Family Detached Home — 2,000 to 2,500 Square Feet for its Clifton Plan in Treeland in Chandler.

Shea Homes’ Encanterra A Trilogy in Queen Creek won an Award of Merit for Age-Qualified Senior Living, while the builder’s Plan 3521 at Acclaim at Jorde Farms in Queen Creek and Plan 7024 at The Reserves at Storyrock in Scottsdale won for Single-Family Detached Home — Under 2,000 Square Feet and 4,000 to 4,750 Square Feet, respectively. Additionally, Shea Homes was recognized for Indoor-Outdoor Lifestyle for a Home for Plan 7533 at Signature at Storyrock.

Another highly decorated builder was Camelot Homes, which won Awards of Merit for Single Family Detached Home — 3,000 to 3,500 Square Feet for The Vibe in Scottsdale and Single-Family Detached Home — 3,500 to 4,000 Square Feet category for Plan 6002 and Plan 6006 at Stone Crest in Gilbert.

Arcadia Custom Builders’ Desert Santa Barbara in Paradise Valley won Awards of Merit for Renovated or Restored Single-Family House, while Desert Park in Paradise Valley won Awards of Merit awards for One-of-a-Kind Home and Spec Home — Under 10,000 Square Feet. The builder’s Aquarius in Silversky was also awarded in the Spec Home — Under 10,000 Square Feet category.

Other multi-award winning builders and developers included Rosewood Homes, which won Awards of Merit for Residential Detached Collection of the Year for Rosewood Highlands at Storyrock in Scottsdale and Single-Family Detached Home — 4,000 to 4,750 Square Feet for Residence Six in the Rosewood Highlands community; Schultz Development, which won Awards of Merit for Custom Home — 7,500 to 9,000 Square Feet for the Globally-Inspired Ranch in Paradise Valley and Custom Home — Over 9,000 Square Feet for Mountain Oasis in Scottsdale; Tim McCormac, whose Joshua Tree home in Paradise Valley earned Awards of Merit for One-of-a-Kind Home and Interior Design for a Custom Home; and DRRL Construction, whose Up and Away model won Awards of Merit for Custom Home — 5,000 to 7,000 Square Feet and Indoor-Outdoor Lifestyle for a Custom Home.

A number of other Phoenix-area builders and developers ended the ceremony with one Award of Merit in hand, including Stilley-Tulloss Design Group, which won for Custom Home — Under 5,000 Square Feet for Mountain Retreat in Flagstaff Ranch; AFT Construction, which won for Custom Home — 5,000 to 7,000 Square Feet for Modern Sunset in Scottsdale; Yonker Construction, which won for One-of-a-Kind Home for The 50th Project in Paradise Valley; Banner Built Custom Homes & Remodeling, which won for Spec Home — Under 10,000 Square Feet for West Wing in Peoria; DLB Custom Homes, which won for Indoor-Outdoor Lifestyle for a Custom Home for Camelback Canyon in Scottsdale; and Sodella Construction, which won for Inventive Housing Concepts for Zora Encanto in Phoenix.
