Paradise Valley ZIP code 85253 named one of the priciest in the nation for real estate

Paradise Valley ZIP code 85252 is one of the most expensive in the nation for housing, a new report from PropertyShark shows.

From January through October of this year, the Maricopa County ZIP code had a median home sale price of $2.9 million, good for No. 34 in the U.S,, the report found. 

Paradise Valley’s median home sale price increased 33% compared to the previous year, putting it fifth in the nation for percentage growth.

The three priciest ZIP codes this year are Atherton, California, 94027, in Silicon Valley, where the median home sold for $7.9 million; Sagaponack, N.Y., 11962, in the Hamptons, with a median home price of $5.75 million; and Ross, California, 94957, in Marin County north of San Francisco, where the median home sold for $5.5 million.

The country’s most famous ZIP code — 90210 in Beverly Hills, California — has a median home price of $5.12 million, good for fifth overall.

Ninety of the nation’s 128 most expensive ZIP codes are in California, and most of those are in the San Francisco Bay Area. 

Arizona’s top 10 ZIP codes for median home sale price in 2022 are:

  3. Carefree, 85377 — $1.26 million
  4. Scottsdale, 85266 — $1.25 million
  5. Scottsdale, 85255 — $1.154 million
  6. Scottsdale, 85257 — $1 million
  7. Fort Mcdowell, 85264 — $950,000
  8. Scottsdale, 85254 — $850,000
  9. Phoenix, 85018 — $848,000
  10. Cave Creek, 85331 — $799,000
