Guaranteed Rate adds Sanjay Gupta as chief marketing and digital officer

Sanjay Gupta has joined Guaranteed Rate as the company’s new chief marketing officer and chief digital officer. In the role, Gupta will oversee all Guaranteed Rate marketing efforts, from branding and advertising to social media and PR. Additionally, he will focus on focus on growing the firm’s consumer direct business.

Gupta has worked in financial marketing for more than 20 years, serving most recently as the executive vice president, head of client solutions and outcomes at the Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association. A graduate of the University of Mumbai, he also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and has served on the boards ICF International, the Mobile Marketing Association and the Association of National Advertisers.

“Sanjay has the right experience to help us become a fintech leader,” said Guaranteed Rate President and CEO Victor Ciardelli in a press release. “He is a true digital innovator, and I know he will provide a ton of firepower to our goal.”

Gupta also shared his enthusiasm, saying, “Guaranteed Rate has an incredibly strong reputation for putting the customer first by focusing on digital innovation. I’m very excited to get to work and help make big things happen that continue to grow the business across multiple channels.”
