What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?

Opening the first perfumery in LA County in West Hollywood, California.

Where did you grow up?

Los Angeles.

Growing up, what did you want to be?

An honest and respectful woman.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?

I don’t get stressed, if you are in tune with your body temple. Low voltage energies will not attack the nervous system.

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?

Thich Nhat Hahn, his energy and message speaks for itself. I listen and practice with him daily along with Dr. Rev Michael Beckwith, Agape International Spiritual Center

What is Phoenix’s best-kept secret?

Great lakes to enjoy water sports

What do you love most about the industry?

The beauty, open spaces and the beautiful mountain ranges. AZ makes you feel like you’re on holiday everyday.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?

It’s not always about the sell, it’s about the journey your clients take you on when you listen. Open honest dialogue is stellar.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads?

When you do a good job, referrals will follow.

What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?

Metaphysical books, learning more about AI.

What’s your favorite meal in Phoenix?

Uncle Louie’s Meatballs/Mussels Tonto Bar & Grill.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Phoenix?

The Chapel of the Holy Cross Sedona.

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?

I was wearing a wraparound skirt, the lockboxes are never placed in desirable locations. It was the season when lizards are bountiful. After I stood up after crawling under bushes to unlock the lockbox. I felt something sliver down my legs, I thought it was a lizard, well, it was my skirt. My clients were staring at me. I demanded the husband turn around. I shook my skirt to make sure nothing was on it. I wrapped it back around me, and continued to explain the features in the home.

What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you?

I never allow anyone to kill my joy.

What is your favorite vacation spot and why?

I love to travel. I was in Paris and Costa Rica last year. Paris warms my heart.

What is your favorite city after Phoenix?

Scottsdale.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry?

Continued education, don’t stop at renewal. Take non-renewal classes as often as possible.
