What was your most interesting job before going into lending?

I was a producer on Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher and a talent executive for HBO.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?

I make TikToks! The app has been awesome for growing my business and helping people understand how credit works and the necessary steps for buying a home!

 
If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?

I would love to meet with the head of the CFPB to give him my two cents about the credit bureaus and what needs to change.

 
Where is Phoenix’s best-kept secret?

She is in TikTok! She goes by @colormycredit ❤️

What do you love most about the industry?

I love the ability to serve others and help them understand and simplify complicated processes within home buying and credit scoring.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?

I find the most difficult aspect is transparency with what is truly available versus what people hear on social media. There is a lot of explaining every day!

What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?

I am a big Audible fan, and I have been listening to Tools of Titans by Tim Ferriss.

What’s your favorite meal in Phoenix?

I love the grilled artichokes at Houston’s when they have them in season!

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Phoenix?

I love the Burton Barr Central Library.

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?

Having my mom take over as branch manager wasn’t exactly weird but unexpected. Thankfully we made those unexpected changes a few years ago, and I have been so blessed to have her by my side every day.

What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?

Back in my 20s, I used to be a stand-up comedy expert and worked heavily in the industry.

What’s your favorite vacation spot and why?

My favorite vacation spot is Maui!
