Coldwell Banker Realty will host its inaugural Charity Tennis Classic at the Phoenix Tennis Center on Nov. 14, with proceeds benefiting the Arizona Housing Fund.
The event will feature men’s and women’s doubles tournaments. Registration is $100 per player, but additional donations are welcome.
Furthermore, an anonymous donor has pledged to match all charitable donations dollar-for-dollar. Tournament director Buzz Carr said the goal is to raise $10,000 — thereby generating $20,000 for AZHF.
“Every home begins with the opportunity for safe, stable housing,” Carr said in a press release. “This tournament is an opportunity to come together, enjoy a day of friendly competition and make a meaningful difference for individuals and families across our state. Knowing that every dollar donated will be matched makes this opportunity even more exciting.”
Since its founding, AZHF has raised $1.9 million for 11 housing-related nonprofits across the state.
“It’s an honor to be named the designated recipient for this fundraiser,” said AZHF Founder Howard Epstein. “The real estate community is filled with big-hearted people who continue to show their support for the Arizona Housing Fund. Together we are making a difference by funding more housing projects to help reduce homelessness for so many in need.”
Players can register and donate online.
