Phoenix-area builders and developers, including Toll Brothers and Camelot Homes, were among the top winners at the 2025 Golden Nugget Awards, an annual honor from the Pacific Coast Builders Conference.
Toll Brothers received Gold Awards — the highest honor — in four residential categories for Phoenix-area developments, including Master-Planned Community of the Year and Best Community Amenity for Sereno Canyon in Scottsdale. The builder also won Best Single Family Detached Home Over 4,000 Square Feet for The Windgate Model in the same community.
The builder was also recognized with the Award of Merit — PCBC’s runner-up recognition — in a number of categories, including Single-Family Detached Home 2,500 to 3,000 Square Feet and Interior Merchandising of a Model Home Priced $600,000 to $900,000 for The Rutherford at Sterling Grove; and Single-Family Detached Home 3,500 to 4,000 Square Feet for Ballantyne at Sterling Grove.
Toll Brothers’ Windgate Model also won a Merit award for Interior Merchandising of a Model Home Priced $1.5 Million and Over.
The builder was also among the numerous Phoenix-area builders and designers to win an award for indoor/outdoor living spaces. API General Contractors and Tate Studio Architects’ Andrus Residence in Cave Creek won the Gold Award for Best Indoor/Outdoor Lifestyle For A Home, while Toll Brothers, Platinum Homes and Phoenix Architecture, and Drewell Works and Brimley Development received Merit awards in the category.
The Collection, a community from Camelot Homes, was also recognized with a Gold Award for Residential Detached Collection of the Year, and won Best Interior Design of a Custom or One-of-a-Kind Home for The Gallery, a model in the community.
Other Phoenix-area Gold winners included Related Group, which won Best Multifamily Housing Community, 20 to 30 Dwelling Units per Acre, for Town Chandler. The developer also won Best Multifamily Housing Community, 30 to 60 DU/Acre, for Manor Scottsdale.
A number of prominent Phoenix-area builders and developers were recognized with multiple Merit awards, including BedBrock Developers, which was recognized in five Custom Home categories.
Other local Merit winners in custom home categories included Builder’s Showcase, Platinum Companies, RJ Gurley Construction and Salcito Custom Homes.
Tri Pointe Homes won five Merit awards in residential categories for Phoenix projects, including Master-Planned Community of the Year and Best Community Land Plan for Waterston in Gilbert. The Tipton Model at Waterston was also recognized for Interior Merchandising of a Model Home Priced $600,000 to $900,000, while Meadow at Waterston was awarded for Interior Merchandising of a Model Home Priced $900,000 to $1.5 Million.
Tri Pointe’s Aspen at Terraza in San Tan Valley also won a Merit award for Interior Merchandising of a Model Home Priced Under $600,000.
