Camelot Homes, Toll Brothers among top honorees at 2025 MAME Awards

Camelot Homes and Toll Brothers were among the big winners at the Major Achievements in Merchandising Excellence (MAME) Awards, an annual recognition from the Home Builders Association of Central Arizona.

Honorees, finalists and other attendees gathered to celebrate Phoenix-area builders and developers and their local new construction achievements on April 5.

Camelot took home some of the biggest awards of the night, including Builder of the Year (up to 250 closings), Community of the Year for The Collection in Scottsdale, and Home of the Year for The Gallery, a model home within the same community.

Additionally, The Gallery earned the builder an award for Best Interior Merchandising of a Model Home Priced $3 Million and Over, and tied for Best Architectural Design of a Detached Home Over 3,750 Square Feet.

Camelot also won awards for its design center and for Best Architectural Design of an Attached Home for The Retreat at Seven at Desert Mountain, and ranked as a finalist in a number of other categories.

Another highly decorated builder at the ceremony was Toll Brothers, which won Master-Planned Community of the Year for Sterling Grove in Surprise. Sterling Grove also earned the builder awards for Best Sales Environment.

The Rutherford, one of Toll Brothers’ models at Sterling Grove, won awards for Best Architectural Design of a Detached Home (2,500 to 3,000 square feet) and Best Interior Merchandising of a Model Home Priced $750,000 to $1 Million and Over, while The St. Helena, another model at Sterling Grove, won Active Adult Home of the Year.

Toll Brothers also took home awards for its models at Sereno Canyon, including Best Outdoor Living Space of a Home Priced $1 Million and Over, Best Interior Merchandising of a Model Home Priced $1.5 Million to $3 Million, Best Architectural Design of a Detached Home Over 3,750 Square Feet and Best Kitchen Design.

Also earning a top honor was Shea Homes, which won Builder of the Year (over 250 closings). The builder also won awards for Best Outdoor Living Space of a Home Priced Under $1 Million for Emblem at Avalon Crossing, and Best Architectural Design of a Detached Home Under 2,000 Square Feet for Plan 3001 at Medley at Avalon Crossing.

Other builders to earn multiple awards for new construction included Tri Pointe Homes, which won Best Community Amenity Feature for Waterston and Best Architectural Design of a Detached Home (3,000 to 3,750 square feet) for Pecan at Blossom Rock; Landsea Homes, which won Best Interior Merchandising of a Model Home Priced Under $500,000 for the Madera 5G Plan at Wildera and Best Specialty Room for its Grand 5G Five-Car Garage; and Cameron Custom Homes, which won Best Interior Design of a Custom or Spec Home and Best Custom Home Under 7,500 Square Feet for its Skye View model.

D.R. Horton, Mattamy Homes, David Weekley Homes and Yonker Construction were also among the prize winners.
