Thompson Thrift will begin construction this month on Refinery at Pointe17, a luxury apartment development in Phoenix. The project represents the multifamily portion of Pointe17, a mixed-use development featuring restaurant, retail, office and residential spaces.

Refinery will include 224 apartments ranging from one to three bedrooms. All units will have nine-foot ceilings, walk-in closets, washers and dryers and Alexa-compatible technology, while select units will also offer balconies or patios.

Plans for on-site amenities include a resort-style heated pool, pickleball court and 24-hour fitness center with yoga and spin studios, plus communal areas like fire pits, grilling spots and a rooftop deck. Additionally, the development will include more than 80 electric vehicle charging stations.

Located at Dove Valley Road and 29th Ave., Refinery at Pointe17 will be zoned to Deer Valley Unified School District.

Multiple retailers have already signed leases for retail spaces at Pointe17, including Heartland Dental, Yoga Six, Body Fit Training and The Bar.
