Preston Porter, broker-owner of Porter Realty ERA Powered, acquired Scottsdale-based Success Property Brokers, bringing the firm under the ERA Real Estate umbrella. The brokerage will now operate as Success Property Brokers ERA Powered.

Founded in 2011 by former owner Byron Short, Success Property Brokers and its 90-plus affiliated agents will continue to serve clients from existing offices in Scottsdale and Peoria.

“This next chapter is about continuity first,” Short said in a press release. “Our agents value independence, flexibility and a practical, agent-focused culture, and becoming ERA Powered allows us to preserve what works while adding the tools, credibility and support to drive long-term growth. As I look ahead to transitioning into a more advisory, production-focused role, it also ensures this is the kind of company I’ll be proud to be a part of.”
