HomeSmart appointed Stacey Onnen its new president. Onnen was previously an executive in the legal technology industry.

Onnen’s most recent real estate position was with Keller Williams in 2023 and 2023. Prior to that, she served as president of eXp Realty from 2019 to 2022. During her 20-plus years in real estate, she’s been an agent, owner and designated broker and operated a real estate school.

“We are pleased to welcome Stacey to HomeSmart at such an important time in our growth,” CEO Matt Widdows said in a press release. “Her operational expertise and leadership experience at large, rapidly scaling organizations will be a tremendous asset as we continue to strengthen our platform, expand into new markets and support our agents and franchise partners.”

Onnen’s priorities as president will be enhancing efficiency and identifying and developing new revenue strategies.

“HomeSmart has built a strong reputation for innovation and for delivering value to its agents and franchise network,” Onnen said. “I am excited to join the leadership team and contribute to the company’s next phase of growth.”
