Meritage Homes will become the seventh builder in Teravalis, a master-planned community in Buckeye, Howard Hughes announced.

Meritage will join Brightland Homes, Century Communities, Courtland Communities, KB Home, Lennar and New Home Co. as the builders for Floreo, the first village of the community. Still under development, Floreo is set to open in 2025 and will deliver over 8,000 homes over the next decade.

“We have a lot of momentum going into 2025, and adding Meritage Homes to our already impressive list of homebuilders only increases the excitement of what’s to come,” Charley Freericks, president of Howard Hughes’ Phoenix region, said in a press release. “With so much on the horizon after the turn of the year, and with Floreo starting to bloom, we are excited to have seven diverse homebuilders by our side to start unveiling floor plans and community amenities in preparation for our grand opening later next year.”
