Compass expands to Arizona with Launch Real Estate

by Emily Mack

Launch Real Estate, an independent brokerage based in Scottsdale, has affiliated with Compass — officially bringing the tech-powered real estate giant to the state of Arizona.

Since its founding in 2016, Launch has added more than 300 agents to become a top-producing office in the Scottsdale area. Now, co-founder John Vatistas hopes to extend that reputation through the new collaboration with Compass.

“At Launch, we have a proud culture of collaboration, and joining Compass allows us to build on that foundation throughout Arizona and nationally,” Vatistas said in a press release. “Honestly, I do not want to entertain the idea of competing with them, as they are simply in a league of their own.”

Over the last 11 years, Compass operations have grown to more than 150 markets across the U.S., making it the largest residential real estate brokerage in the country. Last year, Compass also became a Fortune 500 company.

“We are excited to welcome Launch to the Compass family as we continue to grow the Compass footprint in the United States,” said Compass Founder and CEO Robert Reffkin said. “Launch is a premier luxury brokerage and a great fit for our brand and culture. We are adding an excellent agent-centric agency in a top U.S. market.”

As Launch transitions into a Compass affiliate, integrating new technology and tools, its regional leadership and support staff will remain in place.

“We’re keeping our traditions and people while benefiting from Compass’s national network of agents, many of them in markets with natural synergies with Greater Phoenix,” said Zimmerman.

As long as developers, who build these rental developments do not have to confirm to the 100 yr water guarantee, (renters do not use water?) a significant flaw & loophole being used, AZ will continue to experience water issues.
