Sam Warda’s career in mortgage lending began while balancing his studies and working part-time as a teller at Bank of America. His natural aptitude for finance quickly earned him a promotion to personal banker, before transitioning into mortgage lending. Under the guidance of a seasoned loan officer, Warda learned the old-school way — diving into stacks of paperwork and calculating clients’ qualifications by hand. These lessons shaped the strong work habits that have driven his 15-year career. Today, as vice president of mortgage lending at Rate, Warda’s expertise and client-first approach are the cornerstones of his success.
Warda credits his success to the strength of his team, saying, “I’m fortunate to work with a group of experts who handle every aspect of the business, ensuring that each client receives the highest level of service, no matter the situation.” With a team of skilled business development administrators, loan processors and assistants, Warda is able to focus on delivering exceptional results, while his team handles the details with precision. This collaborative approach ensures that every client is fully supported throughout their homeownership journey.
Over the years, Warda has earned a spot in Rate’s President’s Club for four consecutive years and was ranked as one of the top mortgage loan originators by Scotsman Guide. These accolades reflect his consistent dedication to helping clients achieve their homeownership goals. “I take pride in helping people from all walks of life, particularly minority clients who may have faced challenges in the past. I treat every client and business partner like family,” he says.
Passionate about giving back, Warda supports local charities and plans to focus more on philanthropy in the future.
