The president of Phoenix REALTORS®, Christy Walker learned about real estate while working for a property management and investment firm. Starting as a transaction coordinator for the sales team, Walker handled over 100 sales before getting her license. “It’s a fascinating industry,” she says. “I enjoy the diversity of daily tasks, the challenges to find the right home for clients and keeping it all together.”

Designated broker and owner of RE/MAX Signature, Walker has been in real estate for 22 years, opening her own brokerage in 2007. “Because I’m a broker, instructor and business owner, I think it impacts my clients’ level of trust,” she explains. “I take extra care with details to ensure accuracy and exceed expectations.”

Honored with the RE/MAX Office of the Year award in 2023, Walker also received the Five Star Professional award. The National Association of REALTORS® presented her with the Commitment to Excellence Endorsement in 2022, while RealTrends and Tom Ferry named her in The Thousand list. She won the RE/MAX Community Cares award in 2020 and was recognized by the Institute for Luxury Home Marketings Million Dollar Guild in 2021. Walker is a member of numerous professional organizations, and is a sign language interpreter at her church, runs an annual Financial Peace University class by Ramsey Solutions and supports many charities including the Children’s Miracle Network and Where Hope Lives.

A wife and mother of two daughters, Walker’s core values of integrity, leadership, generosity and personal development are evident in everything she does. “Improving my time-management skills has been instrumental in my success,” she shares. “I balance the needs of my clients and serve my brokerage’s agents while still giving my family time and attention.”
