Thomas James Homes recently named Ben Patton as director of forward planning in the company’s Arizona Division.
In his new role, Patton will oversee permitting and pre-development work for the firm’s projects in the Phoenix area.
“Ben’s expertise and experience in land planning and community development will be invaluable to our continued growth and success in the Arizona market,” Franco Tenerelli, chief legal officer and Arizona Division president, said in a news release. “We are excited to welcome him to our team and look forward to the innovative approach he will bring to Thomas James Homes.”
Patton previously worked as an urban planner and development coordinator for several development firms in the Phoenix Valley and has served on numerous advisory boards, in addition to helping write planning and zoning codes.
He has a bachelor’s degree from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and a master’s degree in community planning from Iowa State University.
“I’m thrilled to join the Thomas James Homes team,” Patton said. “A true innovator in the world of luxury infill homebuilding, Thomas James is an industry disrupter who partners world class design with efficient product delivery. I look forward to working closely with the Arizona team to help expand TJH’s already exceptional brand.”
