The Real Brokerage recently honored top performers at its agent recognition award ceremony, including Shannon Gillette, founder of The Gillette Group.

Gillette received the Make a Difference award, which is presented annually to a Real Brokerage agent who demonstrates the company’s commitment to giving back to the community.

“Our team is dedicated to serving communities where we sell homes, with a particular focus on supporting foster children in our area,” Gillette told Phoenix Agent.

In 2016, Gillette and her husband founded Purpose Movement, a nonprofit organization that aims to improve the lives of foster children through various initiatives like Christmas shopping sprees and back-to-school shoe shopping trips.

In addition to Gillette’s work with Purpose Movement, The Gillette Group was one of the main donors for the Department of Child Safety welcome center. The team also participates in local food drives and volunteers with local schools and churches.

“We are committed to continuing our efforts to support the foster community in any way possible,” Gillette said.
